An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to join a well-established organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a key role within the HR team, providing dedicated support and guidance to operational leaders across a multi-site environment.

Your New Role

As HR Advisor, you will partner closely with managers, providing practical and commercially focused HR support across the full employee lifecycle. A significant part of the role will involve advising on employee relations matters, coaching managers on people management issues and ensuring HR best practice is consistently applied.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing first-line and specialist HR advice to managers on a range of employee relations matters
  • Managing cases relating to absence, conduct, performance, grievance and disciplinary issues
  • Coaching and developing managers to build confidence in people management Supporting organisational change initiatives where required
  • Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business Supporting wider HR projects and people initiatives


What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Previous experience working as an HR Advisor or equivalent HR Generalist role
  • Strong employee relations knowledge and experience managing complex ER cases
  • Sound understanding of UK employment legislation Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence and coach managers at all levels Comfortable working independently in a remote, field-based role
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations would be advantageous
  • Experience within retail, hospitality, charity or other customer-facing environments would be beneficial
