Your new role

This HR Business Partner role will support assigned agency leadership teams, providing commercial and practical people advice across the full HR remit. The role will work closely with stakeholders to support workforce planning, organisational design, people strategy, change management and employee relations, while helping to improve consistency and capability across the HRBP function.

  • Partner with MDs and senior leaders to understand business priorities and translate these into clear people plans.
  • Provide confident HR advice across employee relations, performance, sickness absence, grievances, disciplinaries, exits and settlement discussions.
  • Manage complex ER cases from end to end, ensuring processes are fair, legally compliant and commercially balanced.
  • Support organisational change projects including restructures, consultation, TUPE activity, redundancy processes and wider transformation work.
  • Use people data and reporting to identify trends, highlight risks and recommend practical actions to improve performance, engagement and retention.
  • Work with leaders on talent, succession planning and performance management, ensuring key roles and development needs are clearly understood.
  • Support engagement activity, including survey follow-up, action planning and communication around people initiatives.
  • Advise on reward, offers and pay review activity, ensuring decisions are consistent and aligned with the wider people strategy.
  • Support DEI activity by helping leaders understand data, identify priorities and embed inclusive ways of working.
  • Work closely with People Operations to ensure HR processes, reporting and day-to-day activity are accurate, efficient and compliant.
  • Coach and guide managers to build confidence in handling people matters and applying policy consistently.
  • Contribute to the development of HRBP tools, templates and shared ways of working to improve consistency across the function.


What you'll need to succeed

  • CIPD L5 (or equivalent)
  • HR Business Partnering experience.
  • Strong ER and case management.
  • Stakeholder management with senior leaders.
  • UK employment law knowledge.
  • Change, restructure and TUPE experience.
